"Think Green Think Global" The almost subliminally written text in my "Momo Smitt" T-shirts. Much of the term "Socially-Conscious" comes from the songs I write with political and environmental underlying messages. These songs work their way into every type of venue I play. They are generally best received at "Green" Festivals. In April of 2009, I performed to an electric crowd of about 500 at "Earth Day" in Ashland, OR. In September of 2009, I opened a campaign rally for Ralph Nader at Monterey Peninsula College in Monterey, CA. Barter Fairs, Parades, Protests, Community Rallies, and all sort of events aimed toward raising environmental and political awareness. The lyrics of my songs speak much stronger than my attempt to summarize my earnest effort to improve our world.
